OK Go are back with an elaborately creative new pop video

By on Thursday, January 23, 2025

OK Go premiered “A Stone Only Rolls Downhill,” their first single in over a decade but, as expected, the focus wasn’t just on the song.

The band unveiled their latest video concept: a carefully choreographed mosaic of 64 individual iPhones, each playing a clip of the band dressed in bright monochromes.

It’s the kind of over-the-top creativity we’ve come to expect from OK Go, and naturally, the stunt stole the headlines another chapter in the band’s long history of viral video spectacles.

OK Go’s reputation for elaborate, unconventional videos dates back to the early days of YouTube.

In 2006, their treadmill-choreography video for “Here It Goes Again” became a viral sensation, racking up over a million views in 24 hours.
