Lupin ‘steals’ luxury brands for Netflix marketing campaign

Netflix, with its talent for producing buzz-worthy marketing, has struck gold again with ‘Lupin’.
(If you’re not familiar with the French TV drama – it features the escapades of Assane Diop (played by Omar Sy) a mastermind thief.
In a creative marketing feat, Netflix (with agency Jellyfish France) turned heads by playfully appropriating iconic luxury brand adverts.
Ahead of the release of ‘Lupin, Part 3’, major brands such as Rolex, Cartier, and Chanel appeared to have been ‘robbed’ by Lupin.
Ingenious tweaks in these ads—like tan marks hinting at stolen jewellery or vacant cases—hinted at the thief’s handiwork.
