Tesco’s the new Amazon with its new Hudl tablet

Not something you’d normally expect from one of the country’s most popular supermarket chains, but Tesco has done it – it’s announced its very own tablet PC, called the Hudl.
Aimed at those who are looking for an awesome bargain, Tesco’s new Hudl tab runs on the latest version of Android, offering up a 1.5GHz processor and a 7- inch HD screen.
When I say “Tesco’s like the new Amazon” because of its new Hudl tablet, I’m just comparing it to the fact that Amazon – an online retailer – sells its own affordable tablet, the Kindle Fire. And they’re actually pretty similar.
In my honest opinion, I think this is a great idea on Tesco’s behalf because there’s a lot of people out there who would rather purchase electrical items from a local supermarket, as they may not necessarily have internet access. Plus it’s actually a great PR stunt, which should do wonders for the chain.
And it only costs £119! An absolute bargain.
