Volvic Juiced – Interactive Digital Billboard Game

To support the advertising campaign, Danone’s Volvic Juiced launched an interactive digital billboard game at Bluewater Shopping Centre running through May-June 2013.
This is to encourage shoppers to “Get Juiced for the chance to win refreshing prizes!”. A great idea to allow consumers/shoppers to interact with a digital billboard screen, and get the chance to win free bottles of Volvic Juiced plus win bigger prizes.
The experiential game was created by Kinetic Fuel, Frank PR and Grand Visual, with creative direction from Y&R. Grand Visual also provided tech-build and interactive production for the bespoke campaign which uses a laser touch system to make use of the full length of the screen surface.
Shoppers are instructed to squash as many falling apples as possible in 60 seconds. Each fruit splat will fill an on-screen bottle with tasty apple juice and brand ambassadors will be on-hand to reward players with a refreshing bottle of their own post-game!
To further encourage engagement the game has 3 levels of difficulty and at random points during the day special bonus games will allow lucky players to win even bigger summer prizes, including Volvic Juiced Frisbees.
The PR campaign supports the drink’s TV campaign which launched earlier this year and a UK wide Volvic Juiced sampling tour that begins this month. Additional social media activity will allow fans to play games and win prizes through an online juice themed game designed for Facebook.
