EasyJet Holidays introduces new Life Admin concierge service

New research has found that Brits are losing an average of four days of their annual leave to life admin instead of enjoying their time off.
Tasks like sorting out household maintenance, cancelling subscriptions, and arranging appointments are cutting into what should be a chance to unwind.
To address this, easyJet Holidays has launched the ‘Life Admin Concierge Service’ a special package that provides a personal assistant to handle these tasks while customers are away.
This means holidaymakers can delegate chores like paying bills, scheduling dental check-ups, and even organising children’s parties.
A survey of 2,000 Brits highlights the issue, with a third (33%) struggling to fully relax on holiday due to unfinished chores back home.
Additionally, 42% report that life admin stress has increased over the past three years, and 40% dislike having to use their annual leave for admin rather than actual rest.
With 59% of respondents supporting the idea of ‘Life Admin Days’ on top of regular leave, and 27% suggesting at least three extra days should be added for these tasks, the demand for more time off is clear.
Perhaps most tellingly, 51% believe the phrase “I’m on annual leave” should be replaced with the simpler and more definitive “I’m on holiday.”
After all, time off should be about recharging, not ticking off to-do lists.
Paul Bixby, Chief Commercial Officer at easyJet Holidays said: “We believe that everyone deserves a brilliant holiday, free of the stresses of life admin at home. Our concierge offering is designed to make that vision a reality, so customers can relax and unwind in one of Europe’s most loved destinations, knowing their admin tasks are taken care of.”
