A pizzeria in Norwich just declared war on Hawaiian pizza

If you thought the Hawaiian pizza debate was over, think again.
Owners of Lupa Pizza in Norwich just reignited the feud by putting a £100 price tag on their ham-and-pineapple abomination.
Why so steep? Because they hate it.
The owner spoke to the Norwich Evening News “I absolutely loathe pineapple on pizza,” says Francis Woolf, at Lupa. “This is less about making money and more about sending a message. Pineapple on pizza? It’s a crime against humanity.”

The cheeky pricing strategy is all part of Lupa’s trolling masterclass which landed coverage on GMB, The Guardian and CNN.
On their Deliveroo menu, where pizzas average around £11.70, the Hawaiian sits with an outrageous description: “Yeah, for £100 you can have it. Order the champagne too! Go on, you monster!”
Of course, the internet can’t resist weighing in. Former politician Ed Balls has entered the chat, agreeing that pineapple on pizza is an “appalling” idea.
TV personality Andi Peters is screaming “No pineapple! No pineapple! No pineapple on a pizza! ” over on Good Morning Britain.
Marketing genius from Deliveroo or just a gang of pizza purists with too much time on their hands? Either way, they’ve got everyone talking—and probably not ordering.
Your move, Hawaiian lovers.
