Ben & Jerry’s cofounders, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, have teamed up with public policy advocacy group MoveOn to unveil a special Kamala Harris inspired ice cream flavour.
The collaboration doesn’t stop at the limited ice cream; it also includes an ice cream van tour, aiming to boost voter registration in key states.
The “Scoop the Vote” tour hit the road on Monday, kicking off in Philadelphia with the iconic ice cream duo, Ben & Jerry, leading the way. The truck will make 20 strategic stops in crucial states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nevada—areas that are poised to play a decisive role in the upcoming election.
At each stop, ice cream lovers will have the chance to sample limited edition pints of “Kamala’s Coconut Jubilee.” This latest election creation features a coconut base, rich caramel swirls, and a festive topping of red, white, and blue star sprinkles. The exclusive pints will be raffled off, adding a further element of excitement to each event.
This isn’t the first time Ben & Jerry have made a delicious declaration. Back in 2018 the duo concocted a flavour in protest of Donald Trump policies that attacked racial and gender equity, climate change, LGBTQ rights and refugee and immigrant rights – aptly named “Pecan Resist”.
Remember to vote folks!
