Stella Artois faces up to theft of its glasses

Thousands of Stella chalices vanish from bars and pubs every month.

Instead of cracking down –  the beer brand is begrudgingly celebrating the theft of it’s property in a new smart new campaign from David.

The series of ads accept that the pilfering is “Unacceptable, yet understandable.”

There’s a set of print ads featuring Stella chalices amongst matching sets of household glassware.

‘Each year thousands of our chalices go missing from bars. Unacceptable, yet understandable.’


The campaign follows the launch of a limited-edition range of ‘Steal Artois’ clothing by the brand, to make the theft of its glasses a little less conspicuous.
