Burberry launches its “Singing in the rain” ad whilst teaming up with Marcus Rashford

Burberry has just released its new multi-media campaign to highlight its commitments to supporting local and global charities.
The campaign sets to encourage the next generation of creatives to dance like no-one is watching.
The video – made in collaboration with directors MEGAFORCE and choreographed by (LA)HORDE – riffs off “Singing in the Rain” and includes Zhané Samuels and his team of dancers as they dodge ice blocks on Petticoat Lane while layered up in various pieces from the latest collection.
Keen to create more than just a video, and to prove their capacity to provide social good, Burberry teamed up with footballer and activist Marcus Rashford to finance a network of British youth centres. This money will fund hundreds of thousands of meals to be distributed across 11,000 charities and community groups.
Rashford said the brand shared his vision in bettering local communities through investment into youth centers, which plays a pivotal role in the childhood of many, especially in underprivileged areas.
“Burberry has led with action rather than words and the impact of this move will be felt for generations to come. I’m thrilled with the outcome and proud to call Burberry my partner,” he added.
Rashford has also appeared in ads for Coca-Cola and BT Sport.
