The New Zealand government have launched a public awareness campaign that aims to reduce online harm to children and young people spending more time online due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
The campaign ‘Keep it Real Online,’ uses humour to show parents how to open a conversation with young ones about the dangers of the online world.
One spot features two “porn stars” turning up at a family house and telling a mother what her son’s been up to.
The New Zealand government campaign also addresses portrayals of violence, child-grooming, and cyber-bullying.
