Airbnb contest winners rewarded with unforgettable date night at the Louvre

A lucky couple were treated to a date night to remember at the Louvre after winning a competition held by the museum in collaboration with Airbnb.

Daniela Molinari, a fine art student at Northumbria University, won the exclusive experience by convincing a jury of art experts that she was ‘Mona Lisa’s perfect guest.’

Molinari and her boyfriend were rewarded with a romantic evening in the iconic museum, enjoying champagne with the Mona Lisa, a gourmet meal by the Venus de Milo, a private acoustic concert in Napoleon III’s apartments and even got the chance to spend the night sleeping beneath the glass pyramid at the museums entrance.

The couple’s night at the Louvre celebrates the museum’s new venture with Airbnb which commemorates 30 years of its iconic pyramid building. Beginning this month, the partnership will offer a series of intimate Air bnb concerts in the museum’s Cafe Richelieu followed by  exclusive visits to the museum outside of normal hours in September.
