The UK’s major retailers are pumping out those festive ads – it’s the only time of the year that ad content gets to enjoy a high volume of editorial pick up.
We’ll be compiling a definitive collection of Christmas spots from leading brands as they come in.

KFC
Turkey comes and goes, but chicken’s here to stay.
Iceland
You won’t see Iceland’s Christmas advert on TV this year due to a political kerfuffle. Thank heavens for the internet.
Save The Children
The ad highlights people who haven’t thought through their commitment to Christmas Jumper Day fully.
Sainsbury’s
Starring an eight year old star giving the performance of her life, all for her mum. Directed by Michael Gracey, the director of The Greatest Showman.
Lego
The toy brand reminds parents and grandparents that Lego is “not a brick. It’s their wildest wishes.”
Lego does so by showing the imagination and the stories kids use the toy to create and brings Mums, Dads and Grans along on the creative adventure.
Aldi
Kevin the Carrot returns to front Aldi’s Christmas campaign with a parody of Coca-Cola’s truck ads. Things take a dangerous turn as the truck spins out of control on an icy road and it is left hanging at the edge of a cliff Italian Job Style.
Asda
Asda’s adrenaline charged ad captures the energy and excitement of people coming home for Christmas. With no tear-jerking storyline and just unmitigated joyous fun – could this be a new trend for this year?
