The only ice hockey team in Kenya finally get a game

There’s only one ice hockey team in Kenya.
The Kenyan Ice Lions, train weekly on the only ice rink in East Africa – but they have no-one to play against.
In Canada, it is taken for granted that Canadians can always find someone to grab a stick, find some ice and play a game.
Coffee brand Tim Hortons heard about the Kenya Ice Lions and decided to share their love of the game by bringing them to the birthplace of hockey.
Hortons also donated $30,000 for the development of hockey in Kenya and donated new equipment and jerseys which feature Kenya’s national colors and a Lion
