To celebrate 30 years of operating in China, KFC has partnered with Chinese mobile phone brand, Huawei, and created a KFC mobile phone.
Called the KFC edition Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus, it features a 5.5-inch screen, Snapdragon 425 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, microSD card support, 3,020mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, and an image of Colonel Sanders on the back of the device. So it’s a pretty full functioning mobile.
Extra features include a music app that allows you to create and share playlists when at one of the 4000 KFC outlets in China, as well as a Colonel Sanders background.
If you wanted to get your hands on one of the only 5000 devices, Chinese retailer, Tmall, is selling it from today for £125, however it’s not expected the phone will be released in the UK or USA.
The phone has gained significant global coverage on sites such as Pocket-lint, Forbes, Mail Online and TechRadar. Just goes to show tech and fried chicken is a winning recipe for coverage.
