It’s PEE-Back Time!

A brilliant idea thought up by residents in Hamburg, Germany to deter people from urinating in public. The residents coated walls in the neighbourhood with a super hydrophobic coating which repels liquids! So when anybody pees on the walls, it splashes right back at them. A very simple and effective solution!

The town in Germany, Reeperbahn, is both a red-light district and a centre for bars and nightlife, similar to London’s Soho. It’s a massive issue there and residents decided that this solution would not only protect their buildings but also send the message loud and clear.

What a brilliant idea!
