McDonald’s Big Mac Sauce secret ingredients – revealed and on sale!

This is the first blog I’m writing for PR Examples and what a campaign. The top secret ingredients of the Big Mac Special Sauce have been revealed – and even gone on sale!

For those of you that haven’t heard, McDonald’s is finally selling bottles of their Big Mac Special Sauce! Only 200 500ml bottles are being produced and the first is currently up for grabs on eBay, with a current bid of more than £11,500. To add a philanthropic element to the campaign, all of the proceeds will be going directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

If you can’t afford that, McDonald’s in Australia will also be selling 600 25ml tubs in various locations around the country for just half an Australian Dollar.

McDonald’s has, for the first time, also released a list of the ingredients in the Big Mac Special Sauce, allowing anyone to try to make the beloved sauce at home (have a look in the Mirror link below if you think you can find ‘preservative 211’ at Asda).
