Whisky lovers invited to ‘world’s first pub on a crane’ in anniversary campaign

To celebrate the 170 year anniversary and links with the Clydeside, whisky brand White & Mackay has turned the wheelhouse of The Titan Crane in Clydebank into a pub, called The Lion’s Clyde, for one week only.
Entry to the world’s first pub situated on top of a crane (you can see why it might be a world first!) will be limited and available on a first come, first served basis to those who pre-book via Whyte & Mackay’s Facebook page, where up to eight people at a time can book a trip up the 150ft crane. The 23m2 pub will be open from Monday the 2nd June to Friday the 6th.
Whyte & Mackay was founded on the docks of Glasgow in 1844 by James Whyte and Charles Mackay. The Lion’s Clyde will ‘celebrate the whisky’s Clydebuilt past while bringing people together to enjoy a dram and some great conversation’.
