It’s their most precious gift: Santas donate blood this Christmas

Working in PR photography I was keen that my first PR Examples blog post should be feature an example of a strong photo-led stunt.  I didn’t want to appear to be ‘blowing our own trumpet’ and so I also wanted to feature an image that wasn’t one that one of our photographers had taken.  (Not that we haven’t been involved in some excellent examples in recent weeks – we did the photography for Sony’s Playstation 4 OXO Tower Takeover  for Fever PR). So I was delighted to open my copy of Metro this morning to see this image looking back at me:

I think it just goes to show that a good idea can still generate national newspaper coverage without having to spend huge amounts of money, or resort to the use of a reality TV star or other minor celebrity.  Whoever had this great idea deserves a kiss under the mistletoe!

The image taken by Adrian Books of Imagewise  tells the story simply and effectively and the branding is clear without being over arching.

A great idea well executed, my only disappointment is that we weren’t involved!
