Bacon-flavoured condoms anyone?

Bacon. Condoms. Bacon-*flavoured* condoms – really? Apparently so. The latest innovation from Seattle-based J&D Foods has got people talking.
The food company specialise in bacon-based products, from bacon mayonnaise to bacon salt, but this latest stunt follows the likes of the controversial bacon lip balm, bacon shaving foam and bacon coffin(!).
The creators claim they want to ‘make your meat look like meat’, and so the condoms are suitably meaty in both appearance and taste, and coated in – brace yourself – bacon lubricant.
J&Ds have allayed any fears users might have about the robustness of the product, claiming it’s been ‘rigorously tested to help ensure reliability and the utmost safety for when you’re makin’ bacon.’
Priced at $9.99, the online store informs me they’ve already sold out, but I’m sure there’ll be plenty more where that came from, if any experimental types want to bookmark the page.
The Sun and Fox News have already picked up on this, and I expect they’re the first of many pieces of coverage to come.
