Dulux piggybacks #BRITs2013 with reactive ad

Dulux, in the midst of the Brits sent out a clever tweet using the colourful design of this year’s award to drive home it’s own tagline ‘let’s colour’ and tying it to their own products.

“Looks like Damien Hirst may have used some of our favourites on the #BRITs2013 award!”

It may not have had huge attraction but it is certainly well executed as the ad clearly drove home Dulux’s brand identity, a great example of the importance of monitoring the media agenda AND┬ásocial┬ámedia trends and using that to the advantage of your brand.
