It’s that time of year; love’s in the air and the singleton’s are on the prowl. So as all rationality evades the nation in the lead up to V-Day, what better way to find your ‘one in a dozen’ than on a love roulette hosted by Krispy Kreme UK. And if it doesn’t work there are always free donuts to help you get over the heartache.
The creative campaign sees consumers access the game through the Krispy Kreme website, or Facebook page, and asks only that they provide their Twitter name and sexual preference – male, female or surprise. The roulette then matches the user with another potential partner and any successful pairing who strike up a conversation using the #krispykremeloveroulette hashtag will be automatically entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
Social Media doing what it’s supposed to do right? Encouraging participation and spreading a message. Oh and giving everyone the chance to win some free donuts. Good show! Let’s see how it does in the lead up to Valentine’s Day.
