S Club takeover Waitrose aisles to promote new no.1 range

There is no party like a S club party clearly as the 90’s pop legends take over Waitrose to celebrate their brand new no.1 range

Waitrose is embracing noughties nostalgia with a vibrant collaboration featuring pop legends S Club and UK DJ Jax Jones, who are reimagining the iconic 1999 ballad “You’re My Number One.” This partnership, facilitated by Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment, is designed to resonate across generations while promoting Waitrose’s new No.1 range.

Created and produced by Wonderhood Makers,  the campaign leverages insights from social listening and TikTok trends to connect with a younger audience eager for Y2K vibes. Featuring easy-to-follow dance moves choreographed by Nicky Andersen, the accompanying music video transports S Club members through the aisles of Waitrose, creating a lively and relatable experience.

Katie Hunter and Jo Lumb from Wonderhood Makers expressed their excitement about blending creativity with culinary excellence, while Nathan Ansell from Waitrose highlighted the campaign’s goal of showcasing their premium offerings adding: “We really wanted to Reach (for the stars) with this campaign while also highlighting the very best that Waitrose has to offer in our No.1 range, with exceptional new flavours and the very best in quality and taste.
