Sauce of the problem: Heinz launches ketchup insurance policy

Clumsy ketchup lovers rejoice! Heinz latest insurance policy will make sure you’re covered if you end up covered in sauce…

Their new policy, which promises to alleviate the daily stress of ‘spills, splatters and splotches’, covers ketchup fanatics (in the UAE) in the case of a big spill for 57 different types of claims – from home cleaning services to spa treatments!

Heinz decided to introduce the policy after 48% of those surveyed admitted they had been involved in sauce related accidents BUT 91% that their love for Heinz made it totally worth it…

The Head of Marketing at Kraft Heinz MEA, Passant El Ghannam, commented: “Here at Heinz, we know our fans’ love for our ketchup can sometimes be, well, a bit over the top… That’s why we’re rolling out ketchup insurance – to turn messy moments into pure joy and convenience for our die-hard fans, letting them enjoy their ketchup incidents worry-free.”
