Netflix launches AR-enabled “Love is Blind” wine

Netflix has partnered with Cupcake Vineyards to create “Love is Wine” Chardonnay in anticipation of the upcoming season six premiere of the popular reality dating series, Love is Blind.

The “Love is Wine” Chardonnay bottle is inspired by the iconic golden goblets used by contestants on the show and is said to boast notes of creamy butter, apricot, apple and vanilla. 

The collaboration extends to a unique augmented reality experience, with consumers able to scan a QR code under the wine cap to view a stage in AR and have the chance to win a trip to the romantic resort featured on the show in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

To celebrate the launch of the wine, former Love is Blind contestants returned to the pods for a promotional video in which they led fans on a playful journey of love confessions, culminating in the reveal that their mysterious date was in fact, “Love is Wine” Chardonnay.

The success of the unique collaboration is evident from the wine selling out online within the first three days of its launch but it is set to be restocked until April and is also currently available at select retailers in America.
