WWF and Prado collaboration highlights impact of climate change

There’s a neat creative trick of tapping into the past and updating it with a present issue in order to make a powerful point. The world-famous Prado gallery in Madrid did just that in a collaboration with the WWF to highlight climate change. From old master to disaster.
Four famous artworks – including those by Velasquez and Goya – on display at the Prado were re-imagined through the stark lens of climate change impact with devastating results.
The campaign was launched to raise alarm on the consequences of inaction, as political leaders and diplomats meet at the COP25 climate change summit in Madrid in December 2019.
