Iceland launch Christmas Tree flavoured crisps

We have barely entered October and the nation’s shopkeepers are already doing their best to dazzle us with quirky treats for the festive season.
One supermarket is taking ‘quirky’ to the next level with their rather bizarre crisp creation.
Frozen food supermarket chain Iceland have launched Christmas tree flavoured crisps.
No it’s not April Fool’s Day…
‘The Luxury Christmas Tree Flavour Salted Hand Cooked Crisps’ made with oil from real pine needles cost just £1 for a 180g bag.
Iceland’s Head Chef, Neil Nugent, said: “At Iceland we are always evolving our product range to include the latest foods and trends. The Christmas Tree Crisps have a slight ready salted flavour with a hint of pine that creates a completely new combination, unlike any other festive flavour.”
The response has been entertaining;
In Iceland and just found the weirdest crisps ever they had Christmas tree flavour? WTF? I’ve never looked at a Christmas tree and thought what do they taste of has anyone?
