Coca-Cola lights up the London eye in anticipation of the Rugby World Cup Final

When England were dumped out of their own World Cup there were fears the country would lose interest and enthusiasm in the tournament.

However that has not been the case and companies have continued to use the hype the tournament has created as an opportunity to promote their brand.

None so dramatically as Coca-Cola who on October 25th lit up the London Eye in Black, White, Gold and Green; the colours of the finalists New Zealand and Australia.

Coca-Cola didn’t stop there with their World Cup inspired stunt. A special vending machine was installed at Kings Cross station the following day where commuters were encouraged to smile at the interactive machine to receive a free drink. A few lucky people could also win a Rugby World Cup match ball,
