Lego Commissions A Dress For London Fashion Week

By on Friday, September 13, 2013

London Fashion Week is upon us and what better way to kick things off than with a picture-led PR stunt.

Lego has gone a step further than simply creating a dress out of their trademark bricks, which admittedly would still have created a spectacle for all to marvel. Instead, they commissioned a (potential) future fashion designer, Anne-Sophie Cochevelou a student at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, to create the striking dress – with matching accessories, obviously!

A selection of awesome pictures on the streets of the capital, paired with quirky stats about the 5,000 coloured bricks used to make the dress, have made this a PR hit for Lego with coverage already on ITV, BBCDaily Mirror, Daily Star and even CBBC’s Newsround.
