Ice-cubes shaped like Sir Richard Branson’s face served in Virgin upper class bar

By on Tuesday, May 1, 2012

Designed so the Virgin boss could travel ‘in spirit’ with his passengers, ice-cubes formed to look like the face of Sir Richard Branson will be served in drinks from the new on-plane upper class bar (the ‘longest in the sky’, apparently).

It took a team of four designers six weeks to create the moulds, taking exact measurements of the tycoon’s head using ‘detailed photographic techniques and laser scanning technology’.
