Dutch campaign educates students on the effects of online shaming

In the past six months, 33,000 Dutch youths suffered from unwanted sharing of intimate photos, leading to issues from loneliness to suicide.

KPN partnered with Dentsu Creative Amsterdam to create a campaign, “Think Twice before you forward”.

They collaborated with singer Meau to produce “A Piece of Me”, a song and video highlighting the dangers of sharing without consent.

The campaign has chieved 9 million streams and significant school engagement, enhancing conversations on online shaming.

It also influenced the Dutch senate to criminalize non-consensual sharing of intimate images.
