Who Gives a Crap Inc, which makes eco-friendly toilet paper from bamboo, has produced a new version of Winnie-The-Pooh, with deforestation at the center.

Taking advantage of the artwork going out copyright – the brand have cut down Hundred Acre Wood.

Throughout the book each illustration has been reimagined in a world without trees.

Previously full of Pooh’s friends’ houses is now sadly reduced to tree stumps.

All of Christopher Robin, Pooh and his friends’ adventures aren’t the same anymore and their lives have now been changed due to the deforestation.

This is just a snippet of the wider problem the campaign is attempting to solve.

With this campaign the Company’s co-founder, Danny Alexander, wanted to raise awareness of this issue as “1 million trees are cut down for traditional toilet paper everyday. It’s a hard message to put across and it’s really hard to imagine” yet this powerful campaign makes the issue somewhat more digestible.

This character is so close to many of hearts and childhoods so hopefully this encourage positive action.

No trees were harmed in the making of this campaign and the book is available as a free eBook on the website or in hard copy (now sold out).
