The Melbourne Writers Festival brings the writings of literary classics to life
‘The Art of Words’ campaign brings to life classic novels such as Dracula and 1984 in the medium of imaginative posters. They were produced by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and bring a modern approach to these well-loved classics.
Writings from literary greats such as Mary Shelley, Herman Melville, HG Wells, Bram Stoker and George Orwell were also produced by an AI bot. This year there will also be illustrated ebooks released featuring more AI interpretations.
However, this step towards AI has prompted people to question what it means for the arts industry if we continue to rely on bots.
Heinz also recently tapped into this technology with its ’Draw Ketchup’ project.
