There’s the opportunity to sing, dance and laugh at Glastonbury, but also much more. Riot Lab, a company established in 2017, were keen to support the Governments plans to become smoke free by 2030. The forward-thinking company parked a double decker bus at the festival, creating a safe space for those looking to quit within the smoking community. Riot Rehab drove the initiative by offering Riot Labs products such as disposable e-cigarettes, the Riot Bar, with trained quit-smoking professionals on standby ready to help.
The Founder and CEO, of the company, Ben Johnson appreciates festivals are a stereotypical place to smoke and wanted to offer support to those who may be tempted to light up also. Ben Johnson stated: “The days of dull quit smoking campaigns are over”. The Riot Bus helped fuel the start of the quit smoking journey for those who needed it, amongst all the festival fun.
