Krispy Kreme give away 1 million doughnuts to celebrate lockdown easing

A headline that would get Homer Simpson out of bed – Krispy Kreme has announced it will be giving away a million free doughnuts this week.
The #SmilesAsCurrency activity celebrates the easing of lockdown and the opportunity to see friends and family again.
To get your hands on one, you’ll need to go into a Krispy Kreme store from today and share (through a social media post, a photo, a message, a joke, or a post-it note) how you have connected with someone that has made you smile.
Cue queues outside its stores…
