Luxury travel site treats workers to cosy commute

By on Thursday, November 17, 2016

Who doesn’t love it when brands are super nice because they want you to notice them? Lucky London commuters were given the royal treatment this morning to promote luxury travel site Belmond – and the Instagram posts are enough to give me serious train envy!

An antique Pullman – the sister train to the Orient Express – pulled into Ashford International in Kent at 7.24am this morning to whisk weary-eyed workers to their desks in style.

This Instagram post shows the breakfast ‘with a difference’.

Jealous yet?

I’m a big fan of stunts like this – simple, surprising and visually stunning it’s likely to have some fab engagement from those lucky enough to be on board and those not so lucky. Is it a new idea? Not by a long shot. But it’s a classic PR tactic that I feel still does the trick.
