Part of the ‘Greenification of the World’ campaign launched by the Irish Board of Tourism, Ireland have been turning some of the world’s most iconic landmarks green as part of its celebration for St Patrick’s Day.

This year Ireland has turned 150 of the worlds most iconic landmarks green, including new monuments to join the celebrations such as the Colosseum in Rome, Nelson’s Column in London and the water in the fountains of the White House.
Another country to join the celebrations was Iceland with the Harpa concert hall, the Hallgrímskirkja Church and the Perlan turning green for the occasion.
The result is a fantastic and entertaining stunt that shows just what a bit of lighting and dye can do.
We only hope that the Chicago river doesn’t stay this way….
