The @wahaca spoon amnesty

I love this stunt by Mexican street food restaurant Wahaca offering an amnesty to thieves who keep ‘borrowing’ their spoons – free food for the safe return of their colourful cutlery.
The chain is offering a free plate of Tacos to any customer willing to walk into one of their restaurants and hand back the brightly-coloured plastic spoons.
Quite surprisingly, 4000 spoons go missing from Wahaca per year, so no wonder they are keen to recoup the cutlery!
This annual spoon amnesty has been running for a few years but this didn’t stop the story gaining coverage on the Mail Online and in The Telegraph.
