Ladbrokes release brilliant spoof photos of royal birth

We have a theory at WPR that anything that mentions Kate Middleton or 50 Shades of Grey will get coverage, so it’s no surprise that Ladbrokes is cashing in early on the royal birth.

They’ve come up with a great picture-led stunt which poses Kate, Camilla, Pippa and HRH lookalikes in a series of typical pre-baby scenes, including painting the nursery and reading a book of baby names.

 

 

 

The spoof photoshoot celebrates the launch of Ladbrokes’ Royal Baby Odds, which follows the great coverage they received last week centred around Prince Harry’s apparent slip up which revealed that the baby is a boy.

 

A simple premise, but to be fair the lookalikes are pretty good, and this sort of smile-inducing idea always goes down well. It’s already been featured on Mail Online and in The Sun, and I’m betting more coverage will follow.
