Ultimate luxury home created for birds in clever stunt

Online retailer Clas Ohlson has grabbed attention with its ultimate two-storey home – for birds.
The Swedish home experts designed the luxury birdhouse in a bid to make gardens more appealing for British birds, following The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds’ research that found that many species are in decline.
The luxury home comes complete with a bird feeder in the open plan kitchen and a manicured lawn with contemporary floating steps, a bird bath and perch. For added comfort there are soft furnishings in the master bedroom and even a predator alarm for extra security.
As part of the Big Garden Birdwatch campaign, members of the public are being encouraged to print the blueprints from the Clas Ohlson Facebook page to create their own birdhouse.
Spicing up research to gain coverage is no easy task, but this simple picture-led stunt has made waves in the Mail Online, Metro and BBC Newsround to date.
