Catch of the day: fish tagged with cash prizes to encourage Australian fishing tourism

‘The Million Dollar Fish’ competition will see 75 barramundis tagged with prizes and released into different fishing location across the Northern Territory. The stunt by Tourism NT promises cash prizes to tourists who fish in the Top End.
I personally love the idea of a million-dollar barramundi on the loose for a Northern Territory Australian Government campaign, conceived to attract tourists to the state during the low season.
The campaign is supported by the Australian government in a push to increase local tourism revenue and raise awareness of the state as a fishing destination.

The competition is also open to visitors worldwide, if you do fancy flying down under and taking part!
