Check Your Puppies – breast cancer awareness campaign aimed at 18-35 year olds

By on Wednesday, March 6, 2013

Cosmopolitan magazine and charity, CoppaFeel! have employed some very cutie puppies to launch a breast cancer awareness campaign.

Adorable: These two tiny huskies are helping to raise awareness of breast cancer

Tapping into the nation’s love of dogs, the campaign is urging women to check their puppies. Not the canine kind, the other kind –  boobs!

Although breast cancer is more prominent in older women the campaign is targeting those between 18 and 35, who are less likely to check their breasts regularly. The collaboration with Cosmopolitan is a great way to hit the target audience – not to mention the pups!

At the beginning of every month, a new puppy picture, including the one above, will appear on CoppaFeel!’s free app to remind users to check their breasts. The image will also appear on Cosmopolitan’s website and social media channels with the hash-tag #checkyourpuppies.

The ‘Check Your Puppies’ campaign launches in the April edition of Cosmopolitan and is accompanied by a video starring Fearne Cotton.
