Bic Pens for Ladies

In an echo of the Veet for men review, a range of pens designed by Bic specifically for women has become one of the most sarcastically reviewed products on Amazon.

Makers state that the writing implements, available in an array of feminine hues, feature narrow barrels which ‘fit comfortably in a woman’s hand’. But despite being marketed in a serious way, dozens of consumers have been busy posting comical remarks. A PR stunt precipitated by Bic perhaps or a genuine backlash?
