Fashion show is not shy of ideas

Men’s online fashion website, MrPorter.com will team up with USA Network to host a digital live fashion show in New York later this month.

The show will take place at High Line Park featuring a 60-foot LED screen with a view of Hudson River. The fashion line is said to introduce 35 new styles inspired by US TV drama ‘Suits’.

Instaprint stations will be set up around the event which will allow instagram images to be printed out.

A hashtag #SuitsStyle has been set up to promote the show and pop-up shops will appear around the venue offering passers by the chance to have their shoes shined, be groomed and catch a preview of the next season of ‘Suits’.

USA Digital will also be setting up a mobile app, ‘Suit Yourself’, which will feature product and lifestyle guides as well as a microsite that will host interviews with the cast of ‘Suits’ plus editorial content.

USA Network will be enhancing the show with video, messenging and will be setting up advertorials in key monthly magazines such as, Vanity Fair.

Finally, MrPorter.com will produce a special newsletter and will hire suited and booted male models on bicycles to distribute it freely to 500,000 citizens of NY, LA, Chicago and San Francisco.

A very well thought out PR campaign which will create one great digital fashion show, I will be keeping my eyes peeled for the results.
