notonthehighstreet.com get musical for Valentine’s Day

By on Tuesday, February 14, 2012

Online marketplace notonthehighstreet.com has been offering Twitter followers the chance to have a bespoke mini music video made to celebrate Valentine’s Day for the last week or so. The campaign came to a conclusion today – and although I can’t quite work out how well the campaign did in terms of people getting involved (mostly because Twitter users also used the related hashtag #TweetHeart and as such take up the search results), the @nothsdotcom account seems to have been busy and media including The Stylist have been chatting about it, with the aforementioned stating the effort ‘melted [their] stony hearts on Valentine’s Day’.

The Coopers – winners of Futuresound 2011 (having no discernible musical knowledge since East 17, I don’t know either) – were responsible for the personalised music videos, which were, a la Old Spice, packaged and tweeted back to entrants.

You can see the feed of videos here on the notonthehighstreet Youtube channel, or watch one below, sent to Nayo by Manifest Communications‘ (the people behind the campaign) very own Camilla Brown, or @girlterate as you may know her:
