Michelob Ultra is swapping lockdown running miles for air miles

By on Thursday, April 29, 2021

Spent the last year pounding the pavements while dreaming of a holiday abroad?

Beer brand Michelob Ultra is offering lockdown runners the chance to swap their road miles for air-miles, rewarding select runners with flights to locations that match the distances they ran during lockdown.

A study of 2,000 adults found nearly half of the population have been pounding the pavement for an average of 9.3 miles each week, or 484 miles over the year; enough to get from London to sunny Bordeaux. One in ten of us have even made it as far as Tuscany in Italy.

At 73 calories and 2 grams of carbs per bottle, 3.5 per cent ABV Michelob Ultra is the perfect premium beer to support a balanced and active lifestyle – great to savour at the end of a long run.
